2 Peter 1:3-4 as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, 4 by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

1)      One who adds to the word of God through kept rules.

Q . How would you describe a Theological Liberal?

1)      One who tries to explain away Gods directions.

2)      They usually do this to accommodate some sin in their lives.

Q > What are the 4 truths found in 2 Peter 3-4 that we need in order to live Holy Lives and avoid being misled by a false Prophet ?

1)      We have all the power we need to live Holy lives.

a)      God gives us the power.

b)      We do not live Godly in our own strength.

c)      God gives us the power when we chose to obey.

2)      Jesus is the definition of Holiness.

a)      Jesus is our only living example of Holiness.

b)      We should always use Jesus as the example of what holiness is instead of mans definition.

c)      We must never try to live Godly lives in our own strength.

3)      Jesus should be our highest motivation for living Holy lives.

a)      Our motivation to be like Christ is the way to holiness.

b)      Difficulties should motivate us to be more like Christ.

a.        A >because that is the way we handle it correctly and grow in holiness.

a.         A > Unholy Life, and we move away from God.

4)      It is through Godly living that we experience Gods promises.

a)      We become partakers of His Devine nature.

b)      We escape the corruption of lust.

1.       Q > What is Lust?

a.       A > Any strong desire to utilize worldly emotions or things.
